Daniel Atkins

Rev. Dr. Daniel Atkins teaches Bible at Eastwood. He received his BS in Christian Theology from the University of Mobile, his Master of Divinity at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and completed his Doctor of Ministry at Anderson University (SC) in 2020. Dr. Atkins is in his fifth year of teaching at Eastwood and also serves as the Senior Pastor at Taylor Road Baptist Church in Montgomery. His wife Kristy teaches Kindergarten at Eastwood and he has three children who are all students at ECS. He loves classical education's emphasis on all truth being God's truth and loves to teach people to interpret all of life through the lens of scripture and the Christian worldview.
