ECS Class of 2023

The fourteen members of the Class of 2023 were accepted to 23

colleges and universities, and were offered a total of

$ 1,885,816 (nearly $1.9 million in scholarships).

"They shall build houses and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit... for like the days of a tree shall the days of my people be, and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands."   Isaiah 65: 21-22

The three foundational ideals that shape an Eastwood Christian School education are “Veritas, Vita, and Vocatio.”  The pursuit of the third ideal, vocation, goes far beyond simply attaining a job. Determining and following a call to a particular focus of study or kind of work is important in meeting the needs of the world around us, using our gifts and talents, and following our deepest desires.

To that end, ECS high school students are guided through the process of preparing for their matriculation to colleges and universities. This process includes standardized testing, the compiling of transcripts, resumes, and other records, and determining which institutions of higher learning best fit each student’s particular circumstances.

Students can find information on this page and in the guidance office on a variety of colleges and universities, including the application process, financial information, standardized test score improvement, and other aspects of transitioning from high school to college. Information may also be found on the College Bulletin Board on the first floor of the Upper School building.  

Parents and students are encouraged to contact the school if you need any assistance in the application and preparation of your students for college.
