Shakespeare in the Eastwood Globe

This past weekend, our Upper School students hosted Shakespeare in the Eastwood Globe, an event that showcased creativity, wit, and talent. The Candidi and Caeruli teams took the stage to present their own unique interpretations of two of Shakespeare’s most beloved plays: Much Ado About Nothing and King Lear. Both teams competed for the “Gilded Bard” trophy, with each performance offering a fresh take on the timeless works.

An addition to the event this year, our Logic School students also did a wonderful job presenting their own interpretations of the plays.

The event had something for the whole family to enjoy. For our youngest attendees, there was a coloring competition, and attendants of all ages could test their knowledge in the Shakespeare Trivia Competition.

With both teams having fantastic performances, it was Candidi Kraken’s rendition of Much Ado About Nothing that claimed the victory and earned them the “Gilded Bard” trophy.

The event wrapped up with the highly anticipated announcement of our spring musical: Annie, set to take the stage on March 6-7, 2025. We can’t wait to see what incredible talent and creativity will shine in this upcoming production!
